The doctors at City Doctors & Travel Clinic bill privately, and fees are payable in full at the time of consultation.

Your appointment fee will depend on the type of appointment and the duration. You can find the doctors' fee list here, or call us, and our friendly reception team will explain the fee structure to you.

Please note that there may be additional costs for other GP service items or clinic services such as wound care products, consumable items, and specific administrative requests (e.g. transfer of medical records). For a full list of fees, please see the reception team.

A standard consultation time is 15 minutes.

A longer consultation time is 30 minutes. If you have numerous or complex medical issues or require a procedure, a longer consultation may be required.

A travel consultation is 30 minutes. Travel consultations should be booked 4-6 weeks prior to your departure to allow time for a detailed evaluation of all your travel health needs. If you are closer to departure, it is still a good idea to book an appointment.

Please arrive at the clinic 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete a required pre-travel questionnaire.

Part of the cost of travel vaccinations may be reclaimed through your private health fund. Please contact your health fund for more information.

City Doctors & Travel Clinic do not facilitate walk-in appointments unless a doctor deems an urgent consultation required. This is because most doctors are booked up in advance. To book an appointment online, please visit here. Alternatively, please call us on (03) 6231 3003.

At City Doctors & Travel Clinic, we use a secure automated SMS system to communicate with patients about results. Depending on the test that has been undertaken, a consultation may be required to receive results. It is the patient’s responsibility to follow up on their test results, and we actively encourage patients to be proactive in their healthcare and book an appointment for results before leaving the clinic.

Unless encryption is used, email is not a secure platform for communicating sensitive information such as test results. Also, to protect your privacy, you should never email personal information, such as your birth date, address, Medicare card number, etc. to our clinic.

Yes, in most circumstances you will need to see a doctor to have a script written. Doctors have a duty of care and need to determine if you should be prescribed a medication based on various factors, or if you should continue or cease taking a medication they may have prescribed for you previously.

Regardless of the nature of your visit, you need to book an appointment with a doctor to ensure that you receive the correct level of care. Depending on your individual circumstance, you may also need to see a nurse either before or after your appointment with a doctor. Our reception staff can answer any particular questions you may have about your appointment.

After Hours

If you require medical assistance outside of our opening hours, please call Rosny Doctors & After Hours at 27 Bligh Street, Rosny Park on (03) 6244 1058. This after-hours service is available Wednesday to Friday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm, and weekends and public holidays between 1:00pm and 9:00pm.
