About Us

City Doctors & Travel Clinic takes a holistic approach to medicine and preventative healthcare and has been established and providing services to the greater Hobart community for over 15 years. The GPs practising at our family practice and travel medicine clinic pride themselves on the quality care and personal approach they provide to their patients because their health and well-being is – and always have been their greatest priority.

Conveniently located in the Hobart CBD, on the corner of Collins and Harrington Streets, our spacious and well-equipped rooms enable experienced and friendly GPs to provide high-quality medical services, including family medicine, travel medicine, women's health, family planning, IUD and contraceptive implants, men's health, children’s health, skin cancer medicine, minor procedures, sports medicine, chronic disease management, musculoskeletal conditions, preventative health, minor surgical procedures, dive medicals, aviation medicals, Q Fever medicals, and more.

City Doctors & Travel Clinic is also an approved Yellow Fever vaccination clinic.

Using our online booking system, making an appointment is simple. Patients have the flexibility to schedule an appointment at a suitable time with their doctor of choice.

Our clinic is also an Accredited Training Practice for GP Registrars and medical students.

City Doctors & Travel Clinic has sister clinics located nearby; Rosny Doctors & After Hours and Sandy Bay Clinic, as well as Huon Doctors and Sorell Doctors, located in the greater Hobart area. These clinics form Doctors Tasmania and are owned and operated by Better Medical.

After Hours

If you require medical assistance outside of our opening hours, please call Rosny Doctors & After Hours at 27 Bligh Street, Rosny Park on (03) 6244 1058. This after-hours service is available Wednesday to Friday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm, and weekends and public holidays between 1:00pm and 9:00pm.
