Dr Elizabeth Bates

Dr Elizabeth Bates consults at City Doctors on Monday and Wednesday mornings, offering travel medicine consultations only for patients preparing for overseas travel.

Dr Bates trained in the USA and has lived in Tasmania for more than 15 years. She has extensive experience working in rural and community medicine and continues to provide medical services to rural Tasmanian communities.

At City Doctors, Dr Bates is available for travel medicine consultations only.

Outside of medicine, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, cat and horse.
 

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
• Diploma of Child Health (DipCH)
• Master of Public Health (MPH)
