Dr Adrian Castelli
Dr Castelli is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a strong focus on patient-centred, holistic care. He completed his medical degree at Griffith University and spent the past 10 years working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health in Queensland, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive primary care across all stages of life.
Dr Castelli has a particular interest in men’s health, supporting patients with preventative care, chronic disease management, and sensitive health concerns. He also works closely with patients experiencing mental health concerns, providing practical, compassionate support and ongoing care tailored to individual needs.
With a strong focus on lifestyle medicine, Dr Castelli enjoys helping patients improve their overall wellbeing through weight management, nutrition advice, physical activity, and sustainable behaviour change. His approach is realistic, supportive, and non-judgemental, focusing on long-term health rather than quick fixes.
Now based in Hobart, Dr Castelli values continuity of care and enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients. He aims to create a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Castelli describes himself as living “in the middle of a forest,” spending his time caring for the land, exploring creative hobbies, appreciating tattoos, and lifting weights—interests that reflect his belief in balance, resilience, and healthy living.
